Description

I’ve had this drum kit for a few years now and it’s been a solid workhorse in my home studio setup. It’s a Thomann Millenium MPS-850 E-Drum Set with the Tama HT130 throne – the throne’s actually got a bit of wear from years of use, but it’s still sturdy and sits well.

The kit has loads of features: 550 voices, 30 preset kits, 20 user-created kits, 100 songs, and room for 2 user songs. There’s a quick record function, metronome, equalizer per kit, pitch control, reverb, and compressor. Six faders let you control volume on pads, metronome, and songs. Outputs include two 6.3mm jacks for main outputs, a stereo headphone jack, and a 3.5mm line input. There are also two trigger inputs – one of which is already taken by the second crash and fourth tom pad.

It’s got USB MIDI in and out, plus WAV sample import, so you can expand your sounds easily.

The setup includes:
- 1x 10" snare (two-zone mesh head)
- 2x 08" toms (two-zone mesh)
- 2x 10" toms (two-zone mesh)
- 1x 08" bass drum (mesh head)
- 2x 12" crashes (with stop function)
- 1x 12" ride (three-zone, with stop)
- 1x 12" hi-hat with controller on stand

I’ve kept it in good shape, and the sticks are Vic Firth 5A – I use them every day. Everything’s in solid condition, just like it came from the box.

It’s currently stored in my garage in Batcombe, Mid Devon, and I’m looking to part with it. I’ve used it for practice and recording, so it’s not just a show piece – it’s actually been played a lot. If you’re into electronic drums or just looking for a reliable kit to get into, it’s a solid option.

I’m not selling it for a lot – it’s £270, but that’s just the price I’ve settled on. If you’re interested, I can send over photos or show it in person if you’re local.
