So, I’ve been keeping this little Fiesta for a few years now — it’s a solid, reliable little car, and honestly, it’s been great for my daily commute. I’ve lived in Aughton, Town Green for a few years now, so it’s been right there in my backyard, just parked in the driveway.

It’s a 2016 Zetec, 1.25 litre, manual, 5-door hatchback, Euro 6 spec — not flashy, but everything works well. I’ve kept it pretty well maintained, so it’s got a clean history and no major issues.

The interior’s got a decent Ford SYNC system with AM/FM and DAB, Bluetooth hands-free, and a decent audio setup. I’ve got the alloy wheels — 15-inch, 5x2 spoke style — and they’re original, not swapped out. The seats are 60-40 split with fold-downs, and I’ve got ISOFIX for kid seats, which I’ve used a few times.

Safety features are solid: ABS, EBD, ESP, EBA, airbags all around (including curtain and passenger deactivation), and even a hill start assist. The steering is electric power assisted, and the seats have manual height and fore-aft adjustments. The headrests can be adjusted too — useful for long drives.

I’ve got all the little things you’d expect — heated front windscreen, LED DRLs, electric windows with one-touch, remote central locking, and even a pollen filter. The boot has a loadspace carpet and a light, and the glovebox is illuminated.

It’s got a fair bit of use on the roads, but nothing extreme. I’ve not driven it much over 100 mph, and I’ve kept it well serviced. I’ve even got a footwell light on the passenger side — something I didn’t expect to miss.

I’m not selling it for a lot — it’s just sitting there, and I’ve been thinking about selling it because I’m moving to a new area. The price is £6,525, which is a bit high for what it is, but I’ve been looking at it from a practical point of view — it’s reliable, easy to maintain, and has a solid resale value.

If you’re someone who drives a practical, low-maintenance hatchback and doesn’t need much power or flashy tech, this might be your kind of car. I’ve had it for years, and I’d be happy to pass it on.
