I’ve had this Shimano TLD 25 lever drag reel for years—used it mostly on the rivers near Aberdeen, Scotland, for trout and bass. The drag system works smoothly, the handle feels solid, and it’s been well looked after. It’s not flashy, but it’s reliable and still holds up after all that time on the water.
