Got a bunch of these HISPEC smoke and heat detectors that come with radio linkage — so they all sync up. Each has a 10-year lithium battery, which means no fuss with replacements. These are the ones that meet the new Scottish regulations, so if you're updating your home safety setup, they’re a good fit. Installation’s pretty straightforward — just a DIY job. Most homes need about 3 smoke and 1 heat detector (especially in the kitchen) for full coverage. I’ve got a good stock of them, and they’re not being posted anywhere else. If you’re looking for something reliable and low-maintenance, these are solid. I’m just letting them go for £18 — not a lot, but they’ve been in my place for years and still work great.
