Description

I’ve had this MG S5 Trophy EV for a few months now, and it’s honestly been a joy to drive. It’s not even 10 miles on the clock — basically brand new in terms of usage, only one owner, and it’s been kept well. The 64kWh battery gives a top range of 288 miles when new, which is more than enough for most people. I’ve used it mostly for local trips and short commutes, and it’s been quiet, smooth, and very responsive.

It’s got all the modern stuff — keyless entry, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and those sharp LED headlights. Inside, the climate control works well, including rear vents, and the heated steering wheel is a nice touch when it gets chilly. I also appreciate the automatic gearbox — no fiddling around, just go and drive.

One of the things I love is how quick it charges — 32 minutes to 80% at a public charger, which means I’m not stuck waiting around. Full charge from empty takes about 12 hours and 46 minutes with a 7kW charger, which is manageable if you’re charging at home.

I’m moving to Tarbert in the Western Isles, so I’m looking to part with it. It’s been a solid car for me, and I’m happy to keep it running with minimal wear. The price is £23,395.50 — I’ve kept it low because I’m just passing it on to someone who’ll actually use it.

It’s not flashy, but it’s efficient, tech-friendly, and actually quite reliable. If you’re thinking of getting into EVs and want something practical with a good range, this one’s worth a look.
