This sideboard is one of those pieces that just feels special — it’s a real gem from Robson and Sons, a company that’s been around since 1835 and based in Newcastle. The carved details are really nice, and the serpentine shape gives it a sleek, elegant look. Three dovetail drawers and two big cupboards, all well-joined and sturdy. It stands on those classic cabriole legs, and the paint is a rich teal blue — honestly, the photos don’t even come close to showing how vibrant it really is. It’s 54 inches wide, 20 deep, and 35 high. I’ve got it stored at my place in Rosewell, Midlothian, and I’m happy to show it around — just give me a shout.
