2023 MG HS Trophy 1.5 T-GDI PHEV Estate
Description
This is my 2023 MG HS Trophy – I’ve had it just over a year and it’s been a real joy to drive. It’s a plug-in hybrid with a 1.5 T-GDI engine and a 32-mile electric range (WLTP), so you can go fully electric for short trips, then switch to petrol when you need more range. The car’s in great shape – only a few thousand miles, fully serviced, and has a clean HPI record. It’s pearl white metallic, looks sharp, and comes with all the smart bits: Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 360 camera, adaptive cruise, heated seats, leather trim, auto LED headlights, and a full touchscreen nav. The steering wheel is a bit of a sporty touch, and the seats are comfy with mood lighting. I’ve kept it in the original black leather interior, and there’s a sunroof too.
It’s been one owner since new, with MG warranty going all the way to October 2030. I bought it new from a main dealer in Coxhoe, County Durham – they’re a long-standing family-run business with over 30 years in the industry, and they’ve got a real reputation for quality and care. All their used cars go through a full check, and this one is finance-clear, no write-offs.
I’ve actually only driven it a handful of times since I got it, mostly around local areas, so it’s still very much in good condition. It’s a bit of a showstopper for a hybrid – the design’s updated, the tech’s solid, and it’s got that premium feel.
I’m not selling it for a lot of money – it’s actually £16,641 – but I’m happy to take part exchanges, and it’s fully insured with 7 days free driveaway cover. I’ve been using it as a daily driver, and I’ve never had any issues.
If you’re looking for something smart, practical, and modern with real tech and a clean history, this one’s worth a look. It’s right at home in Coxhoe, County Durham, and I’ll be honest – it’s one of the best hybrids I’ve seen on the road.
