Cooler Master Wave Master Aluminium TAC-T01-E1C case
Description
So I’ve had this Cooler Master Wave Master case for years — it’s the aluminium one, the TAC-T01-E1C model, silver finish, all brushed aluminium. It’s one of those pieces that just stands out because of the curved design and the way it looks when you open it up. I bought it back when it was still a bit of a niche thing, and honestly, it’s still one of the nicer-looking cases you can find. It’s been in great use, never had any damage, just a few light marks from being opened and closed a lot over the years. The top flap has the spring mount, so you can pop it up and access the USB and audio ports easily — super handy when you're connecting stuff. It’s a solid mid-tower, fits all standard motherboards, and has room to spare.
Inside, it’s got 4x 5.25 drive bays and 4x 3.5 internal bays, plus the usual ports: two USB 2.0, two audio jacks, and one IEEE1394. I used it for a few years with a gaming rig, then just went with a different setup, so I’m downsizing now.
It’s not flashy, but it’s a real piece of hardware that I’ve genuinely liked having around. I’ve kept it in good shape, and it’s still as solid as ever. I’m moving to Winchcombe, Tewkesbury, so it’s coming out of my storage. I’m not selling it for a lot — just £45 — but if you’re into cases that have a bit of character, this one might be worth a look.
