2017 Hyundai i30 1.0 T-GDi Blue Drive SE Hatchback
Description
So, I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — it’s a 2017 Hyundai i30 1.0 T-GDi Blue Drive SE hatchback, five doors, petrol, manual transmission, Euro 6 spec. It’s a solid, practical car with a good mix of tech and safety features.I’ve used it mostly for daily commutes and weekend trips around Campbeltown, Argyll and Bute — the roads there are a bit winding, so having things like AEB, lane departure warning, and ESC really helps. It’s got 16-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, and the full suite of safety stuff — front and side airbags, curtain airbags, anti-lock brakes, and even a hill-start assist.
Inside, it’s clean and well-maintained — leather-wrapped steering wheel, driver’s seat with lumbar support, adjustable height, and a decent amount of storage. Front and rear cup holders, armrests (both front and centre), door pockets, glove box, and even a map light and sunglasses holder in the front. The rear seats fold down easily, which is handy when I’ve got a big load.
The radio’s DAB, has Bluetooth, and the headlights have a dusk sensor and manual beam levelling. The mirrors are electric, foldable, and heated, and there’s a rear camera with parking sensors — I’ve found that super useful when parking in tight spots.
I’ve had it through five annual health checks, so it’s been properly looked after. The engine’s running well, no major issues. It’s not flashy, but it’s reliable, easy to drive, and gets me where I need to go without a lot of fuss.
It’s sitting in my garage in Campbeltown now — I’ve been meaning to part with it for a while, and it’s finally time. I’m not selling it for a big price — £5,845.50 — just a bit of a life change and I needed to make space.
If you’re in the area or know someone who might use it, I’d be happy to chat. No pressure, just a solid car with good value.
