This big 18-inch wooden plate was hand-painted by a local artist — it’s not just a plate, it’s more like a piece of art. I made it a centerpiece for my kitchen table, and it’s been great for meals and gatherings. It’s slightly uneven at the edges, but that’s part of its charm — it’s not factory-made. I’ve used it regularly, so it’s still in great condition, just a little scuffed from daily handling. I’m in Lochgilphead, Argyll and Bute, and it’s been sitting in my cupboard for a while now.
