Description

Got this Aga when we moved into our old house three years ago — it’s a solid 1950s oil-fired model, probably from ’54 or ’56. The navy blue finish still looks great, and the original Aga badge is still there. The mercury gauge works fine, and I’ve been servicing it every year with proper Aga oil, so it’s run smoothly ever since. Top oven hits 250°C, bottom one stays around 140–160°C — perfect for baking and roasting. I’ve actually grown really fond of it over the years. Now I’m moving on because the new kitchen in bishops-castle, Shropshire, just doesn’t have space for it. It’s a real kitchen staple, and I’m not sure I’ll ever find another one that feels quite like this. Price is £162, but I’m just letting it go because of the renovation — no one else will be able to use it in the new setup.
