This little trench art lighter I found in a box of old gear from a family collection in Mallaig, Highland. It’s a tiny brass and copper piece shaped like a book, about 3.7cm long. The metal’s a bit worn, but it still works fine — I’ve used it a few times for small fires. It’s not flashy, just a cool piece with a real history. Came with a bit of dirt and old paper scraps, but I cleaned it well. I’m keeping it because it’s a fun reminder of what soldiers carried around back then.
