I’ve got a set of smoke detectors that come with installation — just like I had when I moved into my flat a few years ago. They’re not flashy, but they’re a real comfort knowing they’re there in case of emergency. I’ve kept them in good working order, and they’re still fully functional. I only bought them for £22.50, so I’m not charging much. I’m not sure if you’ll ever need them, but they could save someone’s life — or at least give you a few extra minutes to get out safely. Thought I’d pass them on, maybe as a gift for someone who’s just moved in or has a family to protect.
