This old Omega compass has seen a lot—spent years in our garden, a bit damp from the rain, but still works. I found it a while back and thought it’d be fun to give it a go at refurbishing. It’s easy to take apart, so if you’re into DIY projects, it’s a nice little challenge. Comes with a bit of history and a few memories. Only £4.50, so it’s a solid price for a piece that’s been around a while. Now it’s going to be a bit of a project for me—giving it a fresh look and a new life.
