I’ve got this silver ring set with a beautiful blue sapphire stone — 0.78 carats, one of a kind, made in Sri Lanka. I picked it up during a holiday in the Maldives from a local jeweller called “Elegant Jewels.” It was meant to sit beside my Vera Wang engagement ring, which I only wore when I was away. But when I got back, my car just… stopped working — no warning, no drama — and suddenly I was left with a few things I didn’t know how to keep. So I’m keeping this ring, but it’s not going to stay in my collection anymore. I’m guessing it’s a size L or M, though I’m not 100% sure. The sapphire is gorgeous, a real Kate Middleton vibe. It’s been a lovely piece to have around, even if it’s not going to be worn much. Selling because I’ve got a new direction for my jewellery now. Comes from kirriemuir, Angus.
