This 5ft wide by 4ft 1 tall mahogany surround has a beautiful cast iron inset — it’s been in my kitchen for years and has seen a lot, but still looks solid. The wood is smooth, no major dents or warping, and the iron part is clean and intact. I’ve used it for years as a feature piece behind the stove, and it’s held up well.
