Vintage American petrol can

This old American safety petrol can I found tucked away in my garage – it’s been sitting there for years, mostly just collecting dust. The metal has a nice patina from years of exposure, and it’s in solid condition, no dents or rust. I used it once to store a small amount of oil when I was fixing my garden shed, but honestly, it’s just sitting there now, not really needed. It’s a bit heavy and a bit chunky, but it’s a cool piece of history. I’m not sure what it was used for originally, but I’ve always liked the look of it.
