2007 Adria Altea 542UK
Description
Got this caravan in 2007, and I’ve used it pretty much every year since — lots of trips around the south of the UK, a couple of times in France too. It’s been a real family go-to, especially when we wanted a bit of space without the hassle of a full house. Now, life’s changed a bit and it’s time to part with it.The main table has a bit of scuffing from things getting dropped over the years — doesn’t stop it from being useful, just not brand new. The outside has a few marks, fair for an 18-year-old caravan. The kitchen window has a small piece missing — happened on our first holiday, we managed to get back in with a bit of DIY patching. Still works fine.
Everything’s there to set up and go: Theford cassette loo, Truma hot water heater (only works on mains), Theford fridge (main, gas, 12V), Dorema full awning with annex — I’ve added a small patch to the awning after a 2023 holiday, but it’s still watertight. Gas bottle’s empty now, ran out on our last trip. Waste master with both waste and fresh water barrels, and a hock-up cable.
I’m leaving some basic bits behind — bowls, plates, pans — plus the satellite dish and stand. Tyres are good, both date-stamped 51/21 (4 years old), and I’ve changed them every 5 years — personal habit. There’s a spare set in the front locker with steel wheel bolts too.
It’s not sitting at my house — I can arrange a visit to where it’s stored in Shropshire, England. Just let me know if you’d like to see it.
