2025 Lexus LBX Takumi CVT Hybrid – Front Damage, Starts, Repairable, Salvage
Description
So, I’ve got a 2025 Lexus LBX Takumi with the CVT hybrid — it’s a bit of a standout in terms of looks and tech, but it’s not in perfect shape. Front end took a hit, so it’s been through an insurance claim and is currently in a repairable state. It starts up and can run short distances — but it’s not road-ready yet.I know this sounds a bit scary, so I’m being really honest here. The details on the listings (like the ones from eBay or Gumtree) are just a quick snapshot. They might not be 100% accurate, so if you’re thinking about buying it, I’d really recommend seeing it in person.
It’s been through an insurance claim, and some of the records might show a clear HPI at the time of check — but that doesn’t mean it’s fully cleared. Eventually, it will show up on HPI, so I’d suggest doing your own check before you go ahead.
The car’s not for public roads yet — it needs full repairs to meet legal standards. If it has a MOT, that doesn’t mean it’s safe to drive. It could have been damaged after the test, so a new MOT would be needed once it’s fixed.
I’m not giving any warranty on this one — it’s sold as seen, and I can’t guarantee anything about the engine, gearbox, or interior bits like the parcel shelf, spare wheel, or sat-nav maps. All these things were stored elsewhere before we got it, so it’s fair to say it might not be in original condition.
If you’re serious about looking at it, just call me or Dave — both of us are on the phone during weekday mornings to afternoons. Office number is 0115 9300505. We’re open 7 days, but Sunday’s only appointments.
Delivery’s available anywhere in the UK, though it’ll add a bit to the cost.
I’ve got a few other cars in the yard too — new ones coming in every day. Most of them come straight from insurers, so they’re solid value.
If you’re thinking of buying, bring a mechanic or someone who knows cars — they’ll give you the full picture. And yeah, if you don’t pick it up by the agreed date, we can just hold onto the deposit and sell it to someone else.
I don’t take cash at the site — if you do, there’s a 2% handling fee. All deposits are non-refundable.
The car’s currently in Dundee, Dundee City. No need to rush — just take your time, check it out, and make sure it’s what you’re after.
Price is £11,695.50 — but I’m not putting that in the title. If you’re interested, just get in touch.
