E Move Diplomat Hybrid Bike
Description
So I’ve been riding this electric hybrid for a few months now and honestly, it’s become my go-to for getting around town and the countryside. It’s a men’s model with a 36V 8.7Ah lithium-ion battery — the battery’s tucked inside the down tube, so it doesn’t stick out much, and it’s easy to remove if you need to.It’s got Shimano 7-speed gears, front and rear V-brakes with alloy levers, and 700C X 35 hybrid tyres on double-wall alloy rims. The frame is alloy and 19 inches, weighs in at 20.6kg when fully assembled, and the handlebars are 48 inches high — not too tall, not too short, just right for me.
The motor’s in the rear hub, which means it’s quiet and smooth, especially on hills. I’ve got three power modes — pedal assist, full electric, and a mid-level setting — and it’s only limited to 15.53mph, which feels safe and sensible. Full charge takes about 4 hours, and I get around 18 miles on a full charge. The battery itself is 2.26kg and measures about 36.5 x 9.5 x 9cm.
I’ve only had it assembled a bit — it’s not fully stripped, so it’s ready to ride right away. The battery’s removable and lockable, but you’ll need the keys to use it. It’s graphite grey and built with a frame that’s balanced for both city rides and country paths.
I live in Spennymoor, County Durham, and I’ve been using it a lot lately — it’s been great for commuting and weekend rides. It’s not perfect, sure, but it’s been solid and reliable. I’ve had it for about 6 months now and it’s still running strong.
If you’re looking for something practical, a bit of range, and not too flashy — this one’s been a real workhorse. Price is £314.10, but I’m not going to say that in the title — just figured it’d be honest to mention it in the description.
