2013 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E220 CDI SE 2dr Convertible Diesel
Description
So, I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now, and honestly, it’s one of the best deals I’ve ever found. It’s a 2013 E220 CDI SE convertible – not flashy, but very solid under the skin. Only done 47,200 miles, which for its age is pretty damn low. I’ve had it properly looked after, so it’s clean through and through – HPI checked, MOT valid until February 2026, and no surprises in the service history. The SE trim has some nice bits: front and rear parking sensors, parking assist, Bluetooth for hands-free calls, and a two-zone automatic climate control. The front seats are heated too – really handy when it’s cold out. I’ve used it all year, from winter drives to summer trips, and it’s been reliable.
Fuel economy is a standout – about 59 mpg, which is better than most in its class. Low CO2 too, so it’s not just good for the wallet, it’s good for the planet. The boot’s generous, so it’s not just a driver’s car – you can fit a couple of bags, a couple of kids’ gear, or even a small camping setup if you’re going on a weekend trip.
I’ve also got a three-month RAC warranty in place, so if anything crops up, it’s covered. I’ve kept it well maintained, and it runs smooth.
I’m based in Penrith, Westmorland and Furness, so if you’re around there and want to take a look, I’m happy to meet up. I don’t sell just to fill a gap – I just want to share something I’ve genuinely enjoyed using over the years.
Price is £8,999.10 – that’s not the headline, but it’s fair, and I’m happy to talk about it if you’re interested. No fancy marketing, just a real car, in real life, for someone who values practicality and reliability.
