2025 Volkswagen Taigo 1.0 TSI R-Line Hatchback
Description
I’ve had this 2025 Taigo R-Line for a few weeks now and honestly, it’s been a real joy to drive. It’s not flashy, but it’s got that clean, sharp look with the deep black pearl finish and those little R-Line details — like the ambient lighting and logo projection on the mirrors. The car feels solid, with only 3,009 miles and just one previous owner. It’s got a full service history from the dealership, which I’ve been able to verify — no surprises, no hidden issues. Inside, it’s comfy with the grey and titanium black seat covers, and the 10.25-inch digital dash is crisp and easy to use. I’ve used Apple CarPlay and Android Auto plenty, and the satellite navigation works really well. There’s also adaptive cruise control, parking sensors, and a drowsiness monitor — useful bits if you’re on long drives.
I’ve driven it daily for a couple of months now and it’s been reliable. The battery regenerates when you brake, and the low rolling resistance tyres make it feel a bit more efficient. The rear seats have lumbar support too, which is a nice touch.
I bought it from Mon Motors Volkswagen in Newcastle-down, Newry, and they were great — proper Volkswagen-backed support, full 12-month warranty, and even 12 months of breakdown cover. They did over 100 checks by trained VW techs, so it’s definitely up to standard.
I’m not selling it to the public — it’s actually just a personal vehicle I’ve been testing out. I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for it, but it’s time to move on. It’s priced at £20,970, which is fair given the specs and the service history.
If you’re in the area and looking for a practical, well-equipped hatchback with solid tech, this one’s a good one to check out. No need to go far — I’m based in Newcastle-down, Newry, and I’m happy to chat if you’re interested.
Let me know if you’d like to see it in person. I’ll be around during the week — between 8am and 6pm, or weekends from 10am to 4pm.
