Carbon monoxide alarm supplied and fitted
Description
Got this one fitted in my kitchen a while back — it’s been a real relief knowing I’ve got a backup in case something goes wrong. I’ve seen how easily CO can sneak in, especially with things like gas heaters or old boilers, and it’s just one of those things you don’t want to be caught off guard by.I’ve had it checked and it’s working fine. The fireplaces, the cooker, even the generator — all of those can produce CO, so it’s a real safety net. I’m not saying it’s going to stop a fire or anything, but it’s a simple, quiet little device that can actually save you if you’re not paying attention.
It’s been part of a campaign called Project SHOUT, which is about raising awareness around CO dangers. I’ve been keeping an eye on it since, and honestly, it’s something I wish more people had.
It’s from Great Yarmouth, Norfolk — I’m just passing it on to someone who might actually need it. It’s not fancy, just a solid piece of safety gear. Cost me about £27 when I got it, but it’s been worth every penny.
