Vintage Beaver soap stone sculpture by Wolf Originals

Description
This beaver soap stone sculpture is a real gem – super detailed with little bead eyes, like something out of a storybook. I found it in a collection of Inuit carvings, and it’s been shaped from soap stone, a material they’ve worked with for generations. It’s from Canada, by Wolf Originals, and the base has the original label. It’s about 26cm wide and 15cm tall – quite sturdy, actually, weighs over 2 kilos. I’ve kept it in a box for years, and it’s been sitting in a corner of my living room. Just need to get it out and share it with someone who’d appreciate the craftsmanship.
