Nikon 55-300mm f4.5-5.6 G AF-S DX VR Lens

Got this lens a few years back and it’s been a solid workhorse for wildlife and bird shots. Still in great shape, just not on the move anymore. It’s a 55-300mm DX zoom, so you get that 5.5x reach — from 82.5mm to 450mm equivalent on a full-frame, but it’s actually a DX crop sensor setup, so it’s a bit more compact. The VR II system helps a lot when shooting in low light or with shaky hands — I can actually use slower shutter speeds and not worry about blur. The autofocus is quiet and fast thanks to the SWM motor, and the glass quality is decent — two ED elements and one HRI element help keep the image sharp, especially at the longer ends. It’s weather-sealed too, so it’s been through a few damp days without any issues. Lens only, no bag. I’ve been using it mostly for outdoor stuff, and it’s held up well.
