Description
Got this Sin City DVD lying around from my old collection. The disc plays fine, just a few tiny surface scratches — not enough to bother with, honestly. Robert Rodriguez directed it, with Frank Miller’s sharp vision and a special nod to Quentin Tarantino (you know, the one behind Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction). It’s basically the movie version of Miller’s Sin City comics — a gritty, stylish ride with a lot of cool characters. Bruce Willis as a cop with a weak heart and a strong sense of justice, Mickey Rourke as a brooding loner chasing revenge, and Clive Owen as this mysterious guy with a secret life. Jessica Alba, Jaime King, Brittany Murphy, Rosario Dawson, Benicio Del Toro — all in there. The case is a bit scuffed up, but the disc itself is solid. I keep it in my barnard-castle, County Durham stash — no one else has it, so it’s not exactly common. Price is a bit low — £0.90 — but I’ve been holding onto it for years, so I’m just passing it along. If you’re into gritty, stylish films with a real edge, this one’s worth a look. I’ve got a few other DVDs if you’re interested, let me know and we can talk about bundles.
