This is a full brass casing from a WW1 artillery shell, stamped 37-85 PDPs 136, dated January 1918. It’s inert and never been used — just a piece of history I’ve had in my shed for years. The base is clean and the markings are clear. It’s about 21cm tall, and I’ve kept it stored carefully. I picked it up from a local collection in Burnham-on-Crouch, Maldon, and thought it might interest someone who’s into military history or just curious about old things.
