Suzuki V-Strom 645 2009

Description

So I’ve got this 2009 Suzuki V-Strom 645 sitting in my garage in Newbiggin-by-the-sea, Northumberland. It’s been a solid workhorse over the years – I’ve only ever done a few minor bits and pieces, mostly just oil and filter changes, and had a front and rear caliper rebuild with new pistons and seals. The rear disc and pads were replaced too, and I’ve got new rear luggage bars with canvas bags and a rear box that fits two helmets – useful if you’re doing a long ride or just want to keep gear handy.

I’ve also got lowering foot pegs and bar risers for a bit more comfort on the road. The bike has a black Widdow full exhaust with the baffle removed, and I’ve upgraded the HEL brake pipes for a bit better feel.

The electrical bits are all fresh – brand new Eletrix World stator (£95), brand new Elextix World Rec (£125), and a new battery (£60). It’s had a full service check recently, and the MOT was done in June 2023 – so it’s been properly checked and is safe to ride.

It’s got 32k miles on it, 2 keys, and the V5 is in my name. Cat registered in 2018, and it’s been in one family since then – absolutely no damage, no major issues, just a clean, reliable ride.

I’m not looking to sell it for a big price – it’s just something I’ve kept around for years, and now I’m downsizing. It’s in great condition and runs well. If you’re interested, I can show it off in person or send photos. Just let me know!
