Got this bike from a long-time cycling friend in Bransholme, Hull — it’s been sitting in the garage for years, mostly just sitting, but I finally decided to give it a fresh ride and a good clean.

It’s a 58cm Sun Solo with 10-speed friction gears, 700c wheels that are true and smooth, and the brakes are solid. Bearings are well-lubed, the bottom bracket is sealed, and the whole thing feels responsive — like it’s been tuned to your stride. The original paint and decals are still there, which I really appreciate.

I took it through a full professional service — every nut, every bolt, cleaned and oiled. It runs like a dream. I’ve used it every day for a few years now, and it’s held up really well. Not flashy, not overbuilt, just solid. Perfect for commuting or a quick ride around town. Very low maintenance once you get used to it.

It’s not the fanciest bike out there, but it’s reliable, honest, and built to last. I’m not selling it because I need cash — I just want to share it with someone who’ll actually use it.
