So, I’m getting rid of my 2009 Vauxhall Astra Twin Top convertible. It’s a solid 1.4L engine with a quick boost to 1.8L in Sport Mode, and it’s been properly looked after over the years. I’ve kept it serviced regularly, so it runs smoothly and doesn’t give any trouble. The manual gearbox is a bit of a joy to drive, especially on the twisty bits—there’s nothing fancy about it, just honest and reliable.

The hardtop roof works great, and I’ve kept the interior clean and the paint in decent shape—only a few scratches and a couple of small dents, nothing major. I’ve had it checked recently and it’s still got a good MOT until November.

I’ve driven it a fair bit over the years, but never taken it too far out of its comfort zone. It’s a bit of a weekend project car, really—perfect for someone who’s just passed their test and wants something fun but dependable.
