2005 Volvo S80 2.4 D5 SE Lux

So, I’ve had this 2005 Volvo S80 D5 SE Lux for a few years now, and honestly, it’s been one of the most reliable cars I’ve ever owned. It’s a solid, well-maintained example of the S80 – that classic Volvo saloon with a 2.4-litre diesel engine, silver paint, and a clean, premium feel inside.

I’ve kept it well looked after – 18 services total, 16 of them done at the main dealer. The service print is right there if you want to check it out. There’s also a full service history, two keys, and it’s got a valid MOT until March 2026, so you don’t have to worry about that ticking over.

It’s not perfect – like any 2005 car, there are a few age-related marks and scratches. They’re minor, don’t affect anything, and won’t be fixed because they’re just part of its character. That said, the interior is still comfortable, the climate control works well, and the 17-inch alloy wheels look sharp. The sunroof is a nice touch, and it’s great for both city drives and longer trips.

I’ve just had it serviced recently, so it’s running smoothly. Insurance is low for this model too – that’s a real plus if you’re looking to save on premiums.
