So I’ve been driving this 2022 Golf Life for a few months now, and it’s been a solid daily driver. It’s got 14,737 miles on it, which isn’t bad at all, and the grey colour is a bit understated — solid Urano grey, not flashy but still looks clean.

It’s a 1.5 TSI with 150bhp, manual gearbox, and loads of practical bits: sat-nav, Bluetooth, cruise control, climate control, DAB radio, and 16-inch alloy wheels. The cloth trim feels decent, and the interior is tidy without being flashy.

I bought it with a 3-month warranty — nothing fancy, but it gives me peace of mind. It’s from blackwater, Cornwall, so if you’re in the area or nearby, it’s not too far.

I’ve had it for a couple of years now, and I’ve only ever driven it on roads, not long trips — so it’s still in great shape. The engine runs smoothly, and the handling’s good.

The price is £15,929.10 — that’s what I paid when I got it, and it’s a bit more than I expected, but I’ve kept it well and it’s been reliable.
