This 2016 DS 4 Prestige is a solid, well-maintained diesel hatchback with a clean history and a lot of practical features. I’ve had it for a few years now and it’s been my daily driver through the busy parts of Potters Bar, Hertsmere — always reliable, always quiet, and never had a major issue.

It’s got a 7-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth, DAB radio, CD player, USB, and a mirror screen that works with your phone. The sat nav is emyway, and you can connect via Car Play or Mirror Link. There’s also a 12V socket in the boot and one in the front — useful if you’re doing DIY or just want to charge a gadget.

The interior’s pretty nice: premium leather gear knob, sports seats, heated and electrically adjustable door mirrors, and those 18-inch Brisbane diamond-cut alloy wheels look sharp. I’ve kept the dark tinted rear windows and chrome window trim — helps keep the cabin cool and gives it a bit of that sleek look.

Safety features are top-tier: full airbag suite (driver, passenger, front lateral, curtain), ABS, EBD, ESC, traction control, and even an emergency brake assist. There’s also a parking sensor, reversing camera, and tyre pressure monitoring — all good for parking in tight spots.

The seats have adjustable lumbar support and height settings, and there’s a storage drawer under the front passenger seat. I use the rear split-folding seats to make space when I travel. It’s got a good amount of storage, and the dual-zone climate control keeps things comfortable in both summer and winter.

I’m not going to be beaten on price, quality, or after-sales support — that’s just how I’ve always run things. The car’s been through regular servicing, and I’ve kept it in great shape.
