2010 BMW 1 Series 116i Sport 5-door Hatchback

Description

Got this 2010 BMW 1 Series 116i Sport in Gordon, Scottish Borders – it’s a solid little hatch with a 2.0L petrol engine and manual gearbox. I’ve had it for a few years now and it’s been properly maintained with a full service history. It’s got 74,000 miles on it, which isn’t bad for a car this age, and I’ve kept it well looked after.

The inside is tidy – all the features are there: aircon, front and rear parking sensors, auto headlights and wipers, 16-inch alloy wheels, electric windows and mirrors, and plenty of safety bits like airbags (driver, passenger, and side), ABS, and an alarm with immobiliser. There’s also a 12V outlet in the front passenger area and height-adjustable seats. I’ve used it for daily commuting and weekend trips – it’s reliable and drives well.

I bought it second-hand from a local garage back in 2015, and it’s been a good companion ever since. The only thing I’m not planning to sell it for is a big chunk of cash – it’s actually worth about £3,599, which I’m keeping in case I want to get something new down the line.

I’m a bit of a car nut, so I know what to look for. I’ve never had it in a crash or major repair, and it’s had regular checks. If you’re looking for a no-nonsense, well-maintained hatchback with a bit of character, this one’s been a decent fit for me.
