So, I’ve been keeping this one for a while — a 2022 Land Rover Discovery R-Dynamic HSE, diesel, 5-seater, and it’s been modified quite a bit by Urban Automotive. It’s got a Santorini Black Metallic finish with black leather and white piping, which I’ve actually really liked — feels premium without being flashy.

The mods are pretty solid: carbon fibre front bumper, splitter, and rear diffuser, 23-inch Urban Automotive alloys, side steps, and a little branding kit. The interior’s got all the bells and whistles — Meridian surround sound, fridge/cool box, touchscreen with sat nav, reverse camera, 360 view, and even a tow bar that deploys electrically.

Seats are all electric, with memory settings, lumbar support, massage, and heated/cooling — so if you’re doing long drives or just want to chill in the back, it’s comfortable. The steering column is electric too, mirrors fold, cruise control, paddle shift, voice control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are all there. And yeah, there’s also ISOFIX points, centre armrest, and a heated windscreen.

I’ve done a full check on it — 75-point test and HPI — just like every car we go through at Quirks. We’re a family-run lot based in Keswick, Cumberland, and we’ve been around for a while, specialising in 4x4s and premium vehicles like Range Rovers and Audis.

The price is £47,655 — that’s the base, before VAT. The VAT-qualified price comes to £53,950 plus VAT. So, it’s not cheap, but it’s a solid, well-maintained, modified SUV with a lot of practical features.

I’ve been driving it a fair bit, and it’s been reliable. It’s not a daily driver in the traditional sense — more of a lifestyle vehicle, whether you're off-roading or just going on weekend trips. If you’re looking for something with a bit of character and good tech, this one’s worth a look.
