2019 BMW i8 1.5L Plug-in Hybrid Coupe

Description

I’m selling my 2019 BMW i8 – one of the few I’ve ever owned, and it’s been a real joy to drive. It’s Sophisto Grey with those cool frozen grey highlights, and the interior is all black leather with a carbon fibre package. I’ve kept it well maintained, and it’s got a full service record up to 63,125 miles.

It’s a 4WD, so it handles well on the road and in the hills – I’ve driven it around Crook in Westmorland and Furness quite a bit, and it’s been solid. The car has Apple CarPlay, DAB radio, adaptive LED headlights, and a nice 8.8-inch touchscreen. There’s also a 20-inch alloy wheel set in jet black, and the roof is carbon fibre.

I’ve kept it spotless, with all the safety features – airbags, immobiliser, remote alarm, and even child seat ISOFIX points. The seats are fully leather, and the cabin is a bit of a luxury, with ambient lighting and a few little touches like cup holders and electric windows.

It’s a plug-in hybrid, so I can drive it purely on electric power for short trips – I’ve used that feature a few times when I’m out on the road. The drive mode system lets you switch between Eco Pro and Comfort, and there’s even a surround-view assist.

I bought it new and have only ever driven it, so it’s still very much in its original state. It’s not flashy, but it’s a bit of a special car with real performance and tech.

I’m not selling it for a big sum – it’s £35,995.50 – but I’ve been looking at it from a practical angle, and I think it’s a solid, reliable car that still feels fresh.
