2016 Vauxhall Astra 1.6 CDTi 16V Tech Line 5dr Hatchback Diesel Manual
Description
So, I’ve had this Astra for a few years now — it’s a 2016 CDTi 1.6, 5-door hatch, manual gearbox. It’s not flashy, but it’s got loads of tech for a diesel, which is nice if you’re into driving with comfort and features. It’s got cruise control, speed limiter, a proper sat-nav with 8-inch touchscreen (European system, so it works with the UK maps), voice control, DAB radio, Bluetooth, USB, aux — you can actually stream music from your phone. The interior’s pretty solid: leather steering wheel, cupholders, storage, heated rear window, and even a solar glass screen.
All the little things I’ve come to appreciate: heated door mirrors, adaptive brake lights, LED DRLs, power windows, one-touch front and rear windows, and a load of safety stuff — ABS, ESP, airbags, seatbelt pretensioners, tyre pressure monitoring, hill start assist. The seats are adjustable, and the rear seats fold down to make it easier to carry stuff.
I live in Claygate, The Parade, and I’ve kept it well looked after. It’s not a daily driver, more of a reliable car for trips, errands, and weekend getaways.
The price is £5,391 — not a lot, honestly, for the features and reliability. I’m not selling it to get rich, just because it’s time to move on.
I’m not a car expert, but I do know how to keep things running smoothly. If you’ve driven a diesel with all that tech, you’ll probably see what I mean. Let me know if you’d like to see it in person — I’m happy to show it around.
