I’ve got a bag of elephant garlic I grew last autumn — planted in October, pulled them out when they were ready. These are the big, chunky ones with a strong flavour, perfect for cooking or adding to sauces. I grew them in a small patch at east-boldon, Burnside, and they’re in good shape, not damaged or diseased. I’m keeping just a few for my own use, so the rest I’m parting with.
