So, I’ve been keeping this 2008 Nissan Micra around for a few years now, mostly just for everyday use. It’s a solid little car — not flashy, but it actually works really well for city driving. I’ve had it through a lot of different bits of the UK, and it’s survived the bumps and the weather pretty well.

It’s a 1.2-litre petrol engine, not a lot of power, but it’s smooth and easy to drive. The grey colour is pretty classic — not flashy, but it doesn’t stand out too much either. One thing I really like is the rear parking sensors — they’ve come in handy a few times when parking in tight spots.

I’ve kept it well looked after — cleaned it up properly, all the bits are in good order, and it’s been fully valeted.
