Got this old glass cake stand from my mum’s kitchen – it’s been used a bit but still holds up well. The base is slightly chipped near the bottom, but the glass is clean and the stand stands firm. It’s not fancy, just a solid piece from a family kitchen that’s seen loads of birthdays and tea parties. I’ve been keeping it in my cupboard for years, and now I’m passing it on.
