Denon DRA-350 Tuner-Amplifier with phono stage
Description
I’ve had this Denon DRA-350 for years – it’s a solid 80s stereo receiver that’s been cleaned inside and out, and it’s still working perfectly. It’s from 1984, so it’s not brand new, but the build is solid and the sound is smooth, not harsh or fatiguing. I’ve actually used it regularly over the years, so it’s well-loved and in great shape. It has a phono stage for a turntable, can drive two sets of speakers, and comes with tone controls and variable loudness – useful if you’re mixing different types of music. The sound quality is refined, which is one of the things I appreciate most.
I’ve had it serviced and cleaned, and it runs without any issues. If you’re into older gear and want something that actually sounds good without being flashy, this one’s a keeper.
I’m in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, and happy to show it to anyone who’s interested. I also have a few other hifi bits around – if you’re curious, just give me a shout.
(If you’re thinking about buying it, I’ll be honest – it’s not flashy, but it does what it’s supposed to and still holds up well.)
