So I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now, mostly just for the ride and the practical bits. It’s a 2016 2 Series Active Tourer, diesel, 5-seater, automatic – not flashy, but actually quite solid under the hood. I’m not selling it for a big profit, just getting rid of it after a long time of use.

The car has a few handy bits I’ve kept: 12V sockets in the centre console and passenger footwell, a rear socket with a blanking plug, 17-inch alloy wheels with that multi-spoke design, and a 3.5mm aux input – good for playing music from a phone or tablet.

The rear seats fold electrically (40-20-4 or 60-40 manually) and slide, which is handy if you’re sharing it with someone who needs more space. I’ve kept the air conditioning with two-zone control, the DAB radio, and the Bluetooth with USB audio – so you can actually stream music without a fuss.

It’s got the full safety package: airbags, alarm with remote, immobiliser, EBS, dynamic stability control, and even a crash sensor. The seats have child seat ISOFIX points – two on the rear and one in the front passenger spot, so it’s safe for little ones.

Inside, there’s contrast stitching, heated windscreen wipers, cup holders, and the interior trim is that soft wood finish with pearl accents. The windows are electric with fingertip control – no fumbling, just a smooth open/close.

I’ve also kept the basics like central locking, remote start, fog lights, front and rear parking sensors, and a first aid kit. The glove box has a light, and there are grab handles built into the roof lining.

It’s been well maintained, no major repairs, and the engine’s been running smoothly. The only thing I’d say is it’s a bit of a niche car – not a sports model, not a luxury SUV – but it’s actually quite practical for everyday use.
