Got this Ducati Desert X from a local dealer in Colintraive, Argyll and Bute. Only 3300 miles on the clock since new, and it’s been through two full Ducati service checks — both done properly, no issues. Still under warranty, which is a real plus. It’s got the touring screen, the tail tidy, a proper race exhaust, the special Ducati seat, engine guards, heated grips, and quick shift — all the bits you’d expect from a well-used but solid desert bike. V5 registration is in order, and it’s been kept in good shape with regular care.

I’ve been riding bikes for years, so I know what a good one looks and feels like. This one’s been ridden smartly, not pushed hard — still runs smooth and handles well. The dealer who sold it to me has a solid track record, and I’m happy with how it’s been maintained.

Warranty’s standard: 3 months or 1000 miles (whichever comes first) for bikes under 10 years — this one’s under that, so it’s covered. If you’ve got a track or racing history, that’s not included — the warranty doesn’t cover track use or alarms, which makes sense. Alarms are a known issue with weather exposure and battery drain, so we’re not covering those.

The shop’s been open since late 2022, but the team has decades of experience behind them — John, Charlotte, and the crew, they’re all genuine fans of bikes. You can just drop by, grab a coffee, and talk about what you’re looking for.

I’m selling it because I’ve found something else I’m more excited about — it’s still a solid bike, though, and I’ve kept it well. It’s priced at £9,445.50, but that’s just the number — I’m not pushing it. If you’re into a reliable, well-maintained Desert X with real service history, this one’s worth a look.
