Mercedes CL550 Coupe AMG Package C216 2008 27k Miles 1 Owner Japan Service
Description
So I’ve got this 2008 Mercedes CL550 Coupe with the AMG package — it’s a C216, and it’s been covered only 27k miles from new. Came over from Japan with a full service history and original handbooks, owned by just one person from the start. It’s finished in Metallic Obsidian Black with a leather and semi-aniline interior — black and anthracite — and has that nice wood ash burr trim that gives it a bit of that classic Mercedes touch. The car’s been imported and registered with the DVLA, all UK duties and VAT are sorted.
I’ve just had it through a UK oil service, and it’s got a MOT valid until July 2025. It’s ULEZ compliant, has all the modern bits — parking sensors, rear-view camera, bi-xenon headlights, cornering lights, climate control, cruise control, traction control, and all the safety stuff like ABS, airbags, and stability control.
It’s got 19-inch AMG alloy wheels, front and rear spoilers, side skirts, and a power sunroof with tilt/ slide. The interior is super comfortable — heated front seats with memory, power folding mirrors, auto dimming, and even a child seat mount (Isofix). There’s a premium sound system, a DVD/CD player, and a full UK service book and handbook included.
The engine’s a 5500cc V8 — M273 — petrol, E10 compatible. It’s a smooth, quiet ride, and the steering is responsive. I’ve had it looked at in Japan at 26,211 miles, and it’s been well kept.
I’ve got a few other cars in stock — not just Mercedes, but also Jaguars, Land Cruisers, Land Rovers, and Range Rovers — if you’re into classics or prestige cars, I’ve got a few good ones.
I’m based in Crosby, Sefton now, so if you’re around, feel free to pop by. I’m happy to take trial drives — just need a driving licence to get on the road. I’ll even do a quick chat if you’d like to see it.
It’s not cheap, but it’s a solid, well-maintained car with a great provenance. I’ve had it through a full HPI check and it’s clean. I’m not selling it just to get rid of it — I’ve been driving it for a few years and I’ve really liked how it handles.
If you’re interested, I can show you the full picture — there’s over 20 photos online that show the condition, from the paint to the interior.
No fancy marketing — just a real car, real history, real use. If you’re thinking about getting into a classic or a premium sports car, this one’s worth a look.
Let me know if you’d like to arrange a view. I’ll be honest — I’d rather you see it than hear about it.
(Price is £15,295.50 — but I don’t put that in the title because it’s not how I’d talk about it.)
