Vintage Parker Knoll 1960s rocking chair

Description

I’ve had this Parker Knoll rocking chair for years — it’s one of those pieces that just feels right when you sit in it. It’s a solid 1960s mid-century piece, originally from Armagh City, and I’ve kept it in good shape ever since.

The frame is solid teak, with a nice patina — no chips or dents, just the kind of wear you get from being used gently over time. The original pink textured velvet upholstery is still in good condition, a bit faded from years of use, but it’s still soft and comfortable. The seat has that classic sprung design, and the back supports your posture well. It rocks smoothly and quietly — no creaks or wobbles.
