Plyo Box
Description
I’ve got this plyo box I bought a few years ago and have been using it regularly for home workouts. It’s a solid one — 50cm x 60cm x 76cm, made from thick construction-grade plywood, with internal bracing on the bigger versions. The corners are rounded, so it doesn’t catch you when you jump, and the surface is poly-coated to keep it looking good.I use it for box jumps and quick bursts of movement — helps build leg power and coordination. It’s got pre-drilled holes, so it’s easy to put together, and I’ve found that just turning it to different heights lets me adjust the jump level without needing another box. I’ve been using it for a few years now and it’s held up really well.
It’s rated for up to 350 pounds, so it’s sturdy enough for regular use. I’ve kept it in my garage and it’s been sitting there quietly, mostly just waiting for someone who wants to get into more active movement at home.
I’m moving to Eastbourne, East Sussex, so I’m letting it go. It’s not fancy, but it’s been useful and durable — I’d be happy to share it with someone who’s into fitness or just wants a practical piece for home workouts. Price is £45, but I’m not saying that in the title — just thought I’d mention it in case you’re wondering.
If you’ve ever tried jumping into a box or want something to add to your routine, this might be something you’d actually use. No fluff, just a real piece of gear.
