Antique cast iron fireplace surround

I’ve had this piece for years and it’s been a real standout in my old house in Tilbury, Thurrock. It’s a solid cast iron surround, originally from a vintage fireplace — still looks great even if you don’t have a real fire. I’ve actually used it to store dried flowers, and it adds a real warmth to the space. Height’s about 96cm, width around 95cm — not too big, not too small. I’m keeping it because I love the character, but I’ve decided to part with it now. It’s a bit of a chunky piece, so it’s not for everyone, but if you’re looking for something with a bit of history and charm, it’s worth a look. It’s currently sitting in a storage cupboard at home, so it’s in good condition and ready to go. I’ve only used it for flowers, so it’s been well looked after.
