Hey, this car’s been sitting in Strurry, Canterbury, and I’m finally offloading it. It’s a 2007 Lexus IS 250 SE Auto – black, clean sheet, no accidents or major damage. I’ve had it for years, used it every day, and it ran great until recently.The problem now is the steering lock – it’s stuck and won’t let the car start. I’ve checked the engine and gearbox, both are fine. Once that’s sorted, it’ll fire right up and drive perfectly. I’ve actually bought another car and now just don’t have time to fix this one.
It’s got a full V5, low mileage at 118,000 miles, and I’ve seen the engine being sold separately on eBay for £700 – so this is actually a pretty good deal for what it is. The engine’s solid and you can even turn it by hand to check it out.
No MOT, no history of major repairs beyond this one issue. I’m not expecting any fancy upgrades – just someone who wants a reliable, clean car with a bit of character and potential.
