Description
Got this old Land Rover Series 2a LWB from 1970 — it actually served with the Royal Navy back in the days between '70 and '77. After that, it just sat for a while, then got completely stripped down to the chassis. The frame and bulkhead are original, and we’ve painstakingly restored them back to good shape. The engine’s the original one, but it’s been fully rebuilt — everything’s been checked and repaired, and I’ve got a full list of parts used, still under warranty. I’ve taken photos through the whole rebuild process, so if you’re genuinely interested, I can send them over. It’s now in Howden, East Riding of Yorkshire — just a quick drive from the A1, easy to get to. Honestly, it’s a solid piece of military history with a bit of soul still in it.
