Crownline 220CCR cuddy cabin speedboat
Description
So, I’ve had this Crownline 220 CCR (2006) for a few years now – it’s a solid, well-maintained 22ft cuddy cabin cruiser, powered by a Volvo Penta 5.0 GXi with just 133 hours on it. I’ve only ever used it in fresh water – mostly Lough Derg and Lough Erne – so it’s been pretty gentle on the engine and systems. It’s a clean, quiet boat with a lot of documentation and service records. The interior is tidy, with a comfy two-berth cuddy cabin, a freshwater tap and sink, a chemical toilet, and a galley hatch. The cockpit has a good layout – extended swim platform, walkthrough transom, cockpit table with snap-in carpets, aft sunpad, adjustable helm seats (can adjust height and swivel), and even some cabin and cockpit speakers. There’s also forward anchor locker and navigation lights.
I’ve got a tonneau cover, bimini, and full camper canvas on board, plus the SBS twin-axle trailer with a spare wheel.
It’s not flashy, but it’s been well looked after and works really well. I’ve never had any major issues, and it’s always been kept in fresh water – which helps a lot with longevity.
It’s sitting at pilgrims-hatch, Brentwood now, and I’m thinking of parting ways with it. Price is £18,899 – it’s a bit less than the original asking, but I’m happy to go with that.
If you’ve got a bit of time on your hands and enjoy the water, it’s a solid little boat that’s easy to handle and pretty comfortable. Just not for rough conditions or salt water.
Let me know if you’d like to see it or chat more – happy to talk!
